There are several styles of headsets to choose from, depending on what you can comfortably wear for long periods of time: over-ear, on-ear, and in-ear. We have had very good luck with the Logitech Zone series of devices, particularly the Zone Vibe Wireless

over-ear headset (a great option if you wear glasses!). A good on-ear option is the textJabra Evolve2 65, which comes in both mono and stereo. Yealink also offers on-ear and in-ear options with the WH62 (mono or stereo) and WH63.

The university recommendation for handsets is currently Yealink devices, primarily the MP50 (USB) and MP54 (IP). Both provide the basic functionality of a phone that most people would need. The MP56 and MP58 offer similar functionality with the addition of a larger screen and built-in Bluetooth.

Soundbars are a great option for a single-occupant office, a collaborative space, or just as a backup device to headset or handset. If you are purchasing a new Ultrasharp monitor, or have one released since 2022, the Dell SB522A is a great option that attaches magnetically to the bottom of the monitor, freeing up valuable desk space.

If you would like something with larger speakers, or your monitor does not support the SB522A, the Dell SP3022 would be a good option to consider.

If portability is a requirement, the Dell MH3021P (which includes some dock functionality) or Jabra SPEAK2 55 are worth considering.

Our standard webcam recommendation is the Logitech Brio 505: a Teams-certified, 1080p, dual-mic camera that connects via USB-C. The Brio line offers several other options as if you are looking for something that can do 4K, or a less expensive option. If your computer does not have a USB-C port, we recommend the Logitech C925e.
